Jaine, a proud product of the NYC public schools, attended Yale University, where she earned a B.A. in English Literature and then went on to get an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Cornell University. She is the first person in her family to attend college and put herself though school. After Yale, she serendipitously answered a "Help Wanted" ad in the New York Times and began her career in finance as a receptionist (typed 55 wpm!) at the investment management firm Neuberger Berman. She made her first of several career pivots early on, deciding to pursue equity research instead of a PhD. in literature. She became a leading Equity Research analyst, covering and managing industrial, consumer, financial services and health care industries, and ranking consistently top tier in the Institutional Investor and Greenwich Associate surveys. Known for her investment acumen and exceptional client service, she continues to distinguish herself in management roles in both established and growth businesses, as well as in transformational human capital leadership positions. She has worked and consulted at world-class global financial services companies, including Lehman Brothers/Barclays Capital, Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup, Sanford Bernstein, Citadel Investments, Bridgewater and Bloomberg

I am an experienced, creative and motivated professional with an innate desire to push beyond consensus and comfort zones and with an ability to learn, achieve, innovate and evolve across a range of roles, functions, platforms, geographies and industries, spanning all phases of business and market cycles.
Over the course of my career, I have analyzed, evaluated and worked with many dozens of companies and management teams across varied industry sectors. I have managed, coached, advised and mentored peers and employees from most junior to most senior. I have seen numerous bubbles inflate and managed through multiple corrections, crashes and crises. I understand the power of curiosity, feedback, resilience, agility and asking the right questions.
My approach to analyzing issues, identifying impediments and crafting solutions is both strategic and tactical. I deploy disciplined, data-driven methods infused with experience-based judgment and proactive intuition to synthesize information and deliver tangible results in dynamic and competitive organizations and in highly uncertain, non-linear, non-stable environments.
